Graffiti yobs target station
British Transport Police are investigating after Bentham railway station was targeted by yobs.
Investigating officer PC Gez Cooper said: “The vandal or vandals entered the information room at Bentham station, while it was unattended, and wrote ‘BTS’ (Bentham Terror Squad) on every surface, including the floor, wall, doors, windows, mirrors, pictures and even the soap dispenser in the toilet.

Hide Ad“We suspect there could be more than one offender as the writing is in two distinct styles.
“Two youths in hoodies, who are believed to be local to Bentham, were seen running from the station at around 4.30pm.
“Volunteers spent four hours cleaning off the graffiti.”
The damage occurred sometime between 11am and 4.30pm at Bentham railway station on Monday, November 8.
