Lancaster bike theft prompts CCTV release
British Transport Police (BTP) officers want to speak to the man (pictured) after a grey Carrera Subway bike was taken from the cycle racks on platform 3 of Lancaster station on Wednesday, September 23, shortly before 8pm.
Investigating officer PC Gez Cooper said: “The victim had secured his bike to the cycle rack with a cable lock at around 6.10am.

Hide Ad“At around 7.50pm a man approached the cycle racks, removed the lock with bolt croppers and took the bike.”
Officers believe the man in the image could have information about the incident and urge him or anyone who recognises him to come forward to assist officers with their enquiries.
Anyone with information is asked to contact British Transport Police on, or text 61016, quoting reference PSUB/B9 of 06/10/2015. Information can also be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
