Carnforth man's unique and chilly challenge will help Lancaster cancer charity
Graeme Chesters has launched into his unique 10x10x10 Challenge, a frosty feat which will see him spend at least 10 minutes swimming in water 10 degrees or colder every week between December and the end of February.
He began his aquatic odyssey in Windermere last week and he will be continuing in local lakes and the sea.

Hide AdGraeme’s brisk bathes will be undertaken without a wetsuit and each time he does it, he’ll donate £10 to CancerCare a charity which provides free professional therapy for people affected by cancer and bereavement.
Graeme has chosen CancerCare as the recipient of his fundraising efforts after the charity helped support his wife Gwyn when she was diagnosed with breast cancer two years ago.
Their son Joel also attended its Re-Fresh Young People’s Support Group which helps youngsters affected by a cancer diagnosis or bereavement in their family.
Graeme will be documenting his experiences on a special blog which you can read here
