The unbeaten 27-year-old is contracted to fight Klitschko in a rematch, a deal that saw the former British and Commonwealth champion stripped of his IBF title.
Still holding the WBA and WBO titles and also having been recognised by Ring Magazine as the undisputed champion at a ceremony at Morecambe’s Midland Hotel, Fury could target unification fights with WBC belt holder Deontay Wilder and Charles Martin, who picked up the IBF belt after Vyacheslav Glazkov’s injury in their fight for the vacant title, later in 2016.
