Carnforth into last eight of English Schools FA Cup
The hosts started strongly last Wednesday and scored twice in the opening 10 minutes through Zak Mills and Alex Danson.
Newminster, of Morpeth, Northumberland, struck back from the penalty spot a minute before half-time to set up a frantic second period.

Hide AdWith 10 minutes left Carnforth settled the tie when James Stanley struck a screamer into the top corner from 25 yards.
Carnforth coach Jeremy Simpson, a Football League referee, said: “Both teams were excellent today and the game was played in the right spirit.
“Carnforth worked extremely hard and I am very proud of them all.”
Carnforth will hosts Bury Grammar School in the quarter-finals with the tie to be played before January 31.
