Table Tennis: Satisfying weekend for Lancaster
In the first match of the series all three won a set each to draw with Garstang A.
In the second round, Sinha won man of the match with a 100 per cent record but could not prevent the team losing 4-2 to Oldham.

Hide AdMatch of the day came in the Lancaster versus Morecambe clash with Sinha and Nuttall collecting the three points while Matthew Cooke and Aiden Branch contributed to the Morecambe score in a 3-3 drawn match.
Sinha, Nuttall and Ordenez won a set each to draw with the Kendal A team.
The last match of the day had Lancaster in another 3-3 draw, this time with Preston B.
Morecambe hit the ground running when Matthew Cooke, Aiden Branch and Natham Beamer defeated Kendal C 6-0.

Hide AdBeamer and Branch had to be in good form against the Garstang first team when they won a set each in losing the tie 2-4. Cooke and Branch had to fight hard for the points when losing 2-4 to a strong Preston B team.
Matthew Cooke shook the league leaders, Preston A, when he won the first set of the match but could not prevent the title favourites from winning 5-1.
