Water Polo: City beaten in final of charity tournament
Lancaster took nine players mostly 18 and under to the senior competition, and stormed through the first round, beating local teams Fleetwood 11-0, Radcliffe 6-2 and Southport 12-1.
In the final, Lancaster took on a strong Bridgefield team which featured two ex-Lancaster senior players.

Hide AdA tight first half saw a 2-2 draw, with Bridgefield scoring another goal in the final seconds of the game to take the victory.
The event raised around £1,800 for the charity, which will go towards technology to support independence for people with disabilities.
The ASA and the British Championships take place at Salt Ayre this weekend.
