"What I realise I have taken for granted is how much the area means to me and how much I love being able to travel there whenever I choose.
“With lockdown taking travel and the gigs away it makes sense to host an online celebration of Lancashire to raise money for charities across the county who are struggling to keep their vital services going.
“I’ve never done anything like this before so while I can promise I’ll be working my hardest and we have some amazing people contributing, just what it will look like will be a surprise to me as much as anyone on the night.”

"They are long-term supporters of St John’s and the fact they are providing their own time free of charge so we can all keep caring for makes an incredible difference.
“Jon and his friends know that charities are struggling and by putting on an amazing evening; they are making sure charity work continues.
“In the words of Dame Cicely Saunders, who was a pioneer in hospice care and initiated the hospice movement – ‘we cannot take away the whole hard thing that is happening, but we can help to bring the burden into manageable proportions’.

Sacha Lord, Night Time Economy Adviser for Greater Manchester said: “Through these challenging times, we all need to put some time aside and be able to bring a smile to our faces.
“UnitedWeStream.co.uk was set up to both entertain and raise money and awareness for so many people, charities and organisations at the moment.
“I am absolutely delighted that for one night, we can all sit back and laugh along together, whilst raising money for many causes across Greater Manchester and St John’s Hospice”
