Morecambe to celebrate T.Rex music icon
T.Rextasy have been touring for 25 years, bringing back the famous 70s sound and commemorating the life of music legend Marc Bolan.
In 1967 Bolan formed T. Rex, an English rock band who were known for their flamboyance and charm, defining the glam rock era.

Hide AdWith Bolan’s special ingredient of rock and boogie his songs helped the band notch up a string of hits including ‘Telegram Sam’ ‘Jeepster’ and ‘I Love to Boogie.’
Just months after releasing their final studio album, Dandy in the Underworld, Marc lost his life in a car accident.
T.Rextasy formed after Marc’s death and have been described by many as ‘beyond the boundaries of tribute.’ The band have been accepted by Marc’s family, ex-members and management.
T.Rextasy consists of Danielz (vocals and lead guitar), Neil Cross (rhythm guitars, backing vocals), Rob Butterfield (bass guitar, backing vocals) and John Skelton (drums).
